How to enjoy

Black truffle breakings are the perfect way to elevate an array of dishes, such as risottos, potato gratins, game or fish. You will need to heat the breakings gently to release all their flavour.

These black truffle breakings are bottled then sterilised to preserve the delicious black truffle aromas. The sterilisation process also means that the truffle breakings can be stored for longer, so are not dependent on the fresh truffle season.

Hand-prepared for an exceptional result

Our truffle breakings come from quality fresh black truffles, selected and sorted by hand by our Truffle Masters. They are then bottled by hand and placed in an autoclave to be sterilised. The entire process is compliant with IFS FOOD criteria and means we can guarantee you optimal product quality. Preserved truffle breakings are thus an excellent compromise and a simple way to enjoy the unique flavours of the black diamond all year round.

Not much taste, but maybe I don't know how to cook it. Truffle oil is much more fragrant and quicker to use. (Translated review)

    Merchant's answer

Hello, we're sorry to hear about your disappointment. Have you read the guide to canned truffles that was in your parcel? Canned truffles can be cooked, not eaten as is. It should be added to your dishes at the end of cooking, and gently heated to release all its flavors. However, canned truffles should not be cooked at over 50°c. We're always available if you need us, so don't hesitate to contact us. Sincerely, the Plantin team
